1. Inspect the actual pair

Look at original condition photographs alongside studio-style listing images. Check both shoes, the heel lining, toe area, outsole and stitching. Ask for a closer photograph if a detail is unclear. A polished display image is useful for browsing, but original photographs are the better reference for visible wear.

2. Check the sole and upper

Notice uneven heel wear, worn tread, cracks and gaps where the upper meets the sole. A low price is less attractive if the pair needs repairs. Photographs cannot establish remaining cushioning or guarantee how a used shoe will feel, so ask about anything important to your intended use.
